My Yogurt Power Bowl
A simple, cheap, and healthy yogurt bowl I make at home. Step-by-step instructions plus a video.
Why I chose this recipe
I picked this recipe specifically because it's a staple in my actual life and I eat it all the time. It's quick, zero-cook, and relies on ingredients I always have on hand. Plus, I like that it's healthy but is still sweet and delicious.
Ingredients
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 banana, sliced
- 1/2 cup berries
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon nuts
Step-by-step instructions
- Scoop 1 cup of plain Greek yogurt into a bowl and smooth the top with the back of a spoon.
- Slice the banana into thin rounds and lay them on one side of the bowl.
- Add the 1/2 cup of berries next to the banana so the colors are separate.
- Drizzle the tablespoon of honey across the top of the yogurt and fruit.
- Sprinkle the tablespoon of nuts on top for crunch, and eat right away.
Final Thoughts
I'd for sure recommend this recipe to anybody and especially other students since it'll take me three minutes to make and basically costs nothing, but it keeps me full and gives me energy for a while. Especially for people who skip breakfast or eat something super sugary like cereal just for the convenience, this recipe is an easy change that still tastes amazing and is sweet.
